Pot Noodle - Case study
- Client: Pot Noodle
- The Background:
- With a brand identity of a convenient fast food, Pot Noodle aimed to maximise on spontaneous purchasing by introducing a point of sale machine that would make the tasty snack ready to eat.
- These were to be placed in areas such as service stations and convenience stores, allowing the Pot Noodle to be eaten immediately.
- The Problem:
- What to create. With the external design already in place, Caspian had to devise a system that would heat and maintain the water to a predetermined temperature - in the space provided.
- The Process:
- Caspian worked to produce a water tank that, while staying cool on the outside, heated the interior and kept its contents at an optimum temperature - Hot enough to ready the snack but cool enough to maintain safety.
- The End Product:
- The final product was the Pot Stop. A quick, easy and convenient way to enjoy a Pot Noodle. So far over 4,500 units have been distributed nation-wide.
